Vega Dies and Moulds

The scope of this project is to create 3D models in Unigraphics NX from physical parts. Metrology is very crucial in these projects as dimensions to be taken very accurately. Further, determination of nominal dimensions and tolerances is very vital from manufacturing and assembly point of view. We use the mating parts to determine the datums, references, fits and size tolerances. All models are fully parametric and associative in 3D for easy modification and duplication with size variations. The project also includes the preparation of 2D manufacturing drawings with all needed information.

Please note that the geometry is modified slightly along with dimensional deviations to protect the confidentiality. Also, complete drawing, views and details are not provided as these are only project samples.
